Child Care Subsidy & Financial Support
Making quality Montessori education accessible
What is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a federal government program that helps reduce your out-of-pocket costs for enrolled care. The subsidy is paid directly to Kinderhaus, meaning you only pay the remaining balance of your fees. The amount you'll receive depends on your household income, work/study commitments, and family situation.

Am I eligible for CCS at Kinderhaus?
Typically, you may be eligible if you:
-
Are responsible for childcare costs for a child aged 13 or under (or older with special circumstances),
-
Reside in Australia,
-
Use an approved child care provider (like Kinderhaus),
-
Meet immunisation requirements, and
Satisfy Centrelink’s activity requirements (work, study, volunteering).
How CCS Works at Kinderhaus
Once approved, CCS is applied directly to your fees, meaning your invoice reflects only the difference between program fees and your subsidy amount.
There may also be additional support options available such as Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) or the Preschool Exemption depending on your circumstances.
